Submission of Application for Recruitment
After release of the advertisement the candidates are advised to submit their applications in the prescribed form obtainable from the office of the Commission on payment of Rs. 30/- in cash. In case the candidate desires to obtain such application form by Regd. Post, he/she is required to send Rs. 55/- by money order to the address of the Special Secretary, O.P.S.C. by specifying his/her requirement of the form for the post for which he/she desires to apply.
The applicants are required to fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting. Before filling up the applications form he/she should ensure his/her eligibility in terms of the criteria prescribed in the advertisement for the post/service for which he/she intends to apply. Besides , the vital factors to be kept in mind in filling up the application form are as under :
(i) The applicant should be within the prescribed age limit.
(ii) The applicant should have acquired the requisite qualification and experience, if any prescribed in the advertisement.
(iii) A pass in Oriya language qualification upto M.E. School standard since it is a pre-requisite for entry into State Govt. Service.
(iv) Declaration to be signed by the applicant is the most important factor in filling up the application form.
(v) The applicant should ensure about submission of copies of documents, photo, T.C./I.P.O. etc. alongwith the application form.
(vi) The applicant should ensure about despatch of his/her application well in advance so that the same is received in the office of the Commission within the stipulated time.
